'Harbor Vista': Ocean Views W/Spa, Decks, Home Theater, WiFi, BBQ <br /><br />Welcome to Harbor Vista. This is our ocean view vacation home in Half Moon Bay, California, with wide views of sunsets over the Pacific from 2 decks. Located on the coast between San Francisco and Santa Cruz, Harbor Vista is near a great beach, as well as golf, dining, spas and outdoor recreation. It sleeps up to 8 adults and 12 people total, has 2 master bedrooms, an updated and equipped kitchen, home theater, BBQ, play structure and a 6-person spa. <br /> <br /> The front deck at Harbor Vista runs the length of the house and overlooks the ocean and harbor below. At 330 feet above sea level, the view is panoramic and runs from the Ritz Carlton in the south to Pillar Point in the north, with ships at anchor and at sail in the middle. The sunsets are notable and can be viewed from the lower or upper deck, or anywhere on the main level. A BBQ with propane is situated there for cooking up a grilled meal. Grilling fish fresh from boats in the nearby harbor is one of our favorite things to do.<br /> <br /> The main level consists of the great room, combining a fireplace seating area, sofa/loveseat seating area, dining room table that seats 10 and an open kitchen with granite countertops and a breakfast bar. Picture windows take advantage of the view but can be covered at night for privacy. A HDTV projector shines on one wall, providing a home theater with 5.1 DTS Surround Sound. You can watch DVDs, digital cable TV or hook up your laptop to view your own videos on the wall.<br /> <br /> The kitchen at Harbor Vista is recently remodeled, with double ovens, a 5 burner glasstop range, double sink, large refrigerator, dishwasher and trash compactor. It has dishes and flatware for 12, plus all the pots, pans, mixing bowls and serving dishes you need to put on a great family meal. We use the kitchen ourselves and have cooked a Thanksgiving dinner for 16, so we have tested it thoroughly to make sure it has all the necessities.<br /> <br /> Upstairs is the first master bedroom, with a comfortable King bed and a spacious bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower. A sliding glass door leads to the balcony, and stairs lead up to the rooftop deck, with glass railing and a patio set. Taking in the sunset with a glass of wine is one of our favorite pastimes on this deck.<br /> <br /> Down the hall are the guest bedroom with Queen bed and the "Kids' Room" with 2 Twin bunkbeds, as well as a guest bathroom with shower.<br /> <br /> Downstairs from the great room is the second master bedroom, with Queen size bed and a Full size futon sofa. A 42" TV with digital cable and DVD awaits you here, with hookups for your favorite gaming system or video camera. The 3rd bathroom is here with a shower.<br /> <br /> Out the glass sliding door is the backyard patio, where the 6 person spa awaits your arrival, along with a gas fire table to keep the chill off before or after a dip in the spa. The yard has room for kids to run around, and a play structure with 3 swings and a slide for them to play on.<br /> <br /> Linens and towels are provided, including beach and spa towels. A full washer and dryer is on premise. Propane and firewood are provided.
