We had the best vacation ever! The condo is spectacular. Our family loved everything about it. The view is incredible. I woke up this morning longing to see and hear the ocean again. Miss it already.
Everything was perfect.

I flew over 7000 miles from Hong Kong to spend Christmas in Zihuatanejo! Apartment 802 was the perfect hideaway and proved well! The apartment was nicely decorated with colorful artwork in each room and gave the house a very rich cultural flavor to the place! The kitchen out on the terrace was perfectly located near the plunge pool and overlooks into the sea! We spent most of the time relaxing in the terrace from reading books, soaking in the plunge pool with a cold drink, sun tanning and simply doing absolutely nothing but marvel over the beautiful sea view. "The view is absolutely mesmerizing"!! Marc, the manager of 802, made sure the apt had everything we needed. He was indeed very helpful and made sure the place operated like a 5 star hotel! It was more than that! Overall we were very happy and well relaxed in staying at 802! Why stay in any ordinary 5 star hotel when you can stay here and gaze out to the sea and stars from 802!!!We are sure to be back soon!

Casa Que Ve al Mar Unit 802
As a California businessman working across the globe, it is rare that I get to find a piece of solitude. Solitude is a part of "escape" for me. So when I choose a place it must meet requirements that are pretty high. And hotels are not my style. When I first heard of Casa Que Ve al Mar I was happy to find that it not only had all the luxuries of a serviced hotel but spatially it felt like home. Like my "Home away from Home" - without the interruptions of daily life. When I did want a taste of adventure or excellent cuisine, with a quick check of a comprehensive guidebook to get the best inside tips on culture (great restaurants, shopping, beaches, and nightlife) in Zihuatanejo. The reason I will return next year - and the reason I have been there two times already - is I now have found the ideal Top Secret Hideaway (I share this only with you)!

I had the opportunity to be in Zihuatanejo last
November and had the great pleasure of staying in
Casa Amarada.

What an amazing apartment. Why would anyone want
to pay more money to only be in a hotel room.

The view of the bay is spectacular and the private
large plunge pool on the deck is the best place
for a margarita at sunset.

This has to be better than most premier hotel
suites in Zihuatanejo and a lot cheaper. It is a
short walk to La Ropa Beach and an easy walk to
town.

The condo is surrounded by great restaurants. The
problem is to decide which one to pick. One of
the unique aspect of the apartment is the house
¨bible¨

I have never been anywhere where such a
comprehensive description of the unit and
surroundings is made available to renters. It
open a whole world for me about Zihuatanejo and it
surroundings.

The day trip descriptions were insightful and a
great help to me. I can't wait to return and
recommend it to all my friends and family.

We ended our month long stay in Zihuatanejo at "Amarada-for the love of the sea" and it was the highlite of our trip. The condo reflects the understanding and appreciation the owners have for mexican culture, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean and inviting.

We have travelled extensively in Europe, Asia and Mexico. Our time at Armada rates as one of the highlites of our travels as it combined the best of all our experiences. Beautiful surroundings, easy access to local cultural events, shopping in local markets for fresh produce, meeting intersting people in the complex and ending each day watching the amazing sunsets from the very private balcony.

We would highly recommend "Amarada by the sea' as it's convenient location on La Ropa Beach allows you to explore surrounding areas using local transportation, take in the highlites of Zihuatanejo, walk to wonderful dining experinces and then return home to a truly magical Mexican Retreat.

My husband and I had visited Zihuatanejo almost 25 years ago. We wondered what it would be like, with so much time gone by, as we had remembered it so fondly.

We were so thrilled that the seaside working village atmosphere had remained intact.

Walking into the accommodation was breathtaking, the actual view and condominium surpassed the glorious web site posted pictures. The complex is immaculately clean, quiet, and deliciously comfortable. We felt like we were at home, and not at a resort.

It is so easy to get around either walking or by taxi, everything is accessible and safe. The local restaurants were spectacular, just as they had been listed in the brouchour, making our choices easy, and memorable.

We highly recommend Amarada to our friends, and look forward to planning another vacation soon. The only thing I would recommend is staying two weeks, as one is not enough to take in all that Amarada and Zihuatanejo have to offer.

Colin and I visited Zhiua for the first time a few days after we got married. We were looking forward to a pleasant stay at a nice condo in what, we had been told, was the lovely town of Zhiua. Boy were we in for a surprise. We expected nice. We got spectacular.

Armarada sits high on the hill above the cove in Zhiua. The view would make a postcard blush. Minutes after we arrived we were sitting on a bar stool sipping a homemade margarita and looking out at the bluest blue water I had ever seen. At that was just the start of unimaginable week.

The town of Zhiua itself is the perfect vacation spot. We ate at a variety of restaurants. Some casual, some high end and all friendly with fine service. We poked around in interesting shops. (I bought a spectacular silver bracelet at a small art gallery gift shop that is now my favorite piece of jewllery.) We drank cold beer in small open air pubs. We strolled along the beach, a short walk down the hill from the condo. And we lazed around in deck chairs. We talked about doing more energetic activities, like para-sailing or diving or hiking, but then we'd sink back with another ice cold margarita... what can I say?

The condo is everything you need. It is a beautiful two bedroom space. There is a big open kitchen and a livingroom with a large sectional sofa, if you decide you want a break from the sun. The bedrooms are airy and cool. But our favorite, by far, was the plunge pool. There is nothing nicer after a day in the salt water than to come back and relax in that pool with a long cold glass of water (okay, really we had another margarita).
The condo complex is quiet. There are service people who can help if you have questions about town or transportation. One person even ran out and got us a piece of aloe vera to soothe a sunburn!

The two condo pools are a great option. We would go down for a few laps in the early evening and watch the sunset in the bay.

We can't wait to go back.

What a great place for a holiday. The apartment is full of interesting art. The view from the terrace alone is worth the stay. This is a very luxurious rental and we had one of the most relaxing private holiday. The margaritas at sunset in the large plunge pool were exquisite and a daily ritual. The owners have prepared for the apartment one of the most comprehensive information book for their guest which was incredibly helpful in where to dine, shop and sightsee. We will definitely return and recommend the place to all of our friends.
