It has a queen size bed (new mattress) in the master bedroom and twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. The queen size sofa bed in the Living Room sleeps 2. This condo is on the 1st floor (above the parking area) of a 3 story building. It features 2 cable TV’s with DVD/VCR (and a collection of VHS movies in the cabinet). All linens, (fitted sheets. towels, dishtowels) are furnished. The kitchen is complete with coffee maker, (new microwave, dishwasher and stove), icemaker, disposal, lots of dishes and cookware, toaster, etc. There is a stack full size washer/dryer in the utility closet. There are 3 telephones with wireless DSL internet service. There is also an answering machine in the unit . This is a no-smoking unit but smoking is allowed on the balcony.
Amelia Island features a wide array of tourist attractions such as uncrowded beaches, fine restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and many diverse recreational activities such as top rated golf courses, tennis, beachcombing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, miniature golf, water slide, volleyball, horseback riding, cruising on the Amelia River or you may want to take a day trip over to Cumberland Island. One of the most popular events is the Shrimp Festival which is always held the first weekend in May. The streets of historic downtown Fernandina are filled with art, crafts, antiques, live music, children's activities and lots of delicious local seafood. A 50 block area of Downtown Fernandina Beach is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its amazing preservation of late Victorian architecture with its many mansions and cottages.
Florida's oldest saloon is the Palace Saloon on Centre Street with hand painted murals, a hand-carved 40 foot mahogany bar and pressed tin ceilings. One of Amelia Island's most unique historic sites is Fort Clinch, the pre-civil War fort located inside a beautiful 1700 acre state park. On the first weekend of every month volunteers join the park rangers to reenact life in 1864 during the occupation by Union troops. There is also a beautiful beachfront with a half mile long fishing pier and many miles of hiking and bicycle trails
