Description - Foley Vacation House Rental - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 6 people, river, town, waterfront
Just minutes from white, sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, AL is BeachnRiver --- a waterfront, retro-Tiki inspired home set in a private "end-of-the-road" setting. There are two semi-enclosed covered decks with ceiling fans and two large entertaining decks to enjoy your meals in privacy or for sunbathing. Enjoy your 5 o'clock cocktail hour at the wet-bar, complete with outlet, blender and mini-refrigerator. Because the white, sandy-bottomed creek is just steps from the home, you can keep an eye on your children while they play in the shallow, tidal creek. BeachnRiver is located in the heart of Foley. You will feel comforted to know you are within a couple of minutes from Wal-Mart, Lamberts Restaurant, Tanger Outlet Mall, a Movie Theater and other popular retail stores, restaurants and attractions. Gulf Shores is a mere 10 minutes from the home --- and with your complimentary beach pass you can go as often as you like. Guests of BeachnRiver enjoy kayaking or paddleboating the historic Bon Secour River with rentals from BeachnRiver Canoe and Kayak Rentals located across the creek. Kayaking the river not only offers another source of family entertainment but allows for fun, educational and recreational opportunities for the entire family. You will see much wildlife --- as the area sets between three Coastal Birding and migratory trails. The end of the road setting means you will be able to enjoy your activities in near privacy --- away from crowds and peering eyes. Gulf Shores, AL is indeed a "destination" but you will find it is also home to some of the most diverse recreational opportunities. Choose from kayaking, paddle-boating, canoeing, sailing, fresh and salt water fishing, para-sailing, sightseeing, golfing, shopping --- or just relaxing in the hammock to the sounds of nature! The proximity to regional airports in Mobile, AL and Pensacola, Fl makes BeachnRiver's easy access to the main Hwy ideal. Business travelers come to "re-charge their batteries" and rest in the quiet setting but appreciate the unique features such as 3G speed for iphones and wireless, high speed Internet. They are pleasantly surprised by the luxury bedding and Egyptian linens not typically offered for a rental of this nature. The home sets on pilings offering views of the scenic Bon Secour River and professionally landscaped gardens. Why settle for just a "beach" experience when visiting the Gulf Shores, AL area when you can enjoy a "beach" and "river" experience? Choose BeachnRiver vacation rental home where we know you'll have a "Beachin' Good Time!

BeacnnRiver sits in a very peaceful setting. We loved the decks, that you can sit on, while our kids were in the paddleboat. The house is decorated very nice and accommodates several comfortably. There is something for everyone there. The tree swing was a hit for the kids, they enjoyed swinging and jumping in the River. Minutes from all the tourist attractions, but far enough out that you feel like you have escaped... We really enjoyed our time at BeachnRiver.

We had never been to Alabama. We imagined a beach, like all beaches. We imagined tee-shirt shops and fast food joints. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine what we found at BeachnRiver! Although we were using a timeshare on the coast, we found BeachnRiver when googling for a kayak rental nearby. When we found this little gem hidden away off the beaten path but only minutes from all the hubbub, we were ecstatic! Although most in our party were inexperienced kayakers, we fell in love with the ease and comfort of floating along the river, under the spanish moss and amid the flickering reflections of the water, watching the turtles sunbathe and listening to the calling of all sorts of birds. We loved the experience so much we went back for a second day! This is a DO NOT MISS -- especially if you get tired of the tacky tourist shops. Eat at Tin Top after your kayak trip and you will have had one of the best, most memorable days of your vacation!
