This cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and is located on the Hiawassee River, which nestles between the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Mountains.<br /> <br /> The Hiawassee River offers fly-casting & other fishing at your doorstep. The region abounds with outdoor activity including mountain hiking, climbing, or biking. There is also golf, tennis, RVing, white water rafting or kayaking, horseback riding and boating on the huge and pristine Lake Hiawassee. Driving tours include the Southern Highroads Tour, Cherohala Skyway Tour, and Blue Ridge Parkway Tour. Or visit the mountain craft shows, antique shops, flea markets, Indian reservations, Harrah’s Casino or breathtaking TVA dams. Or forget your cares as you relax on the spacious screened porch and enjoy the magical sounds of the Hiawassee River. You'll love the sound of the river rushing along while sitting on the covered back deck in one of our rockers. A gas-burning fireplace in the living room wards off the chill on those cool mountain nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, and all the necessary pots, pans and dishware should you be so inclined to cook your meals. Other amenities include: Central Heat & A/C System, washer and dryer, BBQ grill, telephone for free local calls and internet connection, CD player, cable TV.
