Casa Bambú is situated on Second Street in the ecological zone and the Ruta de los Cenotes, just 5 minutes to the beach and 10 to the cenotes on the jungle side of Puerto MorelosThe fully fenced property covers an area of 8,000 square feet. The house consists of almost a thousand square feet, all on one level. On entering you see the dining room and central kitchen with an area of 400 square feet and 12-foot ceilings. In the right wing is the master bedroom (20' x 20') with a king size bed, and wooden closets with beveled stained glass doors.
In the left wing you will find two air-conditioned 16' x 16' bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds sharing the medium luxury master bath, facing a large screened porch with two cotton hammocks where you can see the garden paradise of spider monkeys, parrots, birds, trees and exotic regional plants.
A corner of the property contains a small service cottage with a laundry room.
The house has sheltered parking for two cars and includes all services such as hot water, air conditioners and gas.
It is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, linens, towels and other home details, including the owner's collection of books and works of art.

Area Description: Puerto Morelos is a functioning fishing port where you can buy great fresh seafood, with a broad public beach and great barrier reef national park, which has been designated a World Heritage site. It also has a deep-water port for large ships. In the central square you can see an old lighthouse and a large wooden dock, excellent for diving, sailing, snorkeling and maritime activities.

Rental Rates for this Puerto Morelos Vacation House
Basic daily rate $250 usd, with discounts for longer stays
a) If a reservation its made within 60 days of arrival, payment in full its required upon reserving.
b) If a reservation is made outside of this 60 days, 50% deposit is due at the time of reserving to confirm your reservation, and balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
c) If a reservation is made at the last moment, a deposit of 50% required and balance due must be paid in cash on arrival.
All of our prices are considered in U. S dollars, at the daily exchange rate.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are effective on the date written notice is received by email to bambu@vialaktea.info. If a refund is applicable, the refund will be processed by La Via Laktea within two weeks and will be refunded via Paypal, or in the form a check on a bank in the United States sent by mail from Mexico. Paypal charges will be applied to the account of the recipient.
