My daughter also says that it was great to have her own space when she wanted it, not so if we had booked a hotel room in Manhattan. This trip was her 21st birthday gift from Mum (me) and Dad (who couldn't make the trip due to work commitments). We had no problems at all, either with the subway ($25 for 7 day metrocard, well worth it, even used this on Staten Island for a bus ride to Historic RichmondTown) and didn't feel uncomfortable when walking around the neighborhood. It is a lovely time of year to visit NY as everywhere was starting to get in the Christmas spirit, decoration of houses, shops, etc. I would definitely recommend this apt to my family and friends for a stay in NY. Great Experience, December 2, 2008 By Andrew Egbers (Johannesburg,Gauteng, South Africa) We stayed at Winston Property for 4 days in September, from the start of the process, i.e booking, arriving,duration&leaving-Winston was always there to help. We had his mobile number and any problems we could phone him up, even organizing rides to and from the airport. The subway is in walking distance of the apartment &there is a huge supermarket just round the corner. We had no hassles while we were there. It was really an awesome experience and gave us a good feel of New York. Thanks to Winston who got our tour of the US off to a great start! Close to Manhattan by subway but far enough to get a great feel of the city we had no problems with this accommodation at all. Winston was very helpful answering all our questions before we even asked them. The Apartment is well set up with a family in mind. We traveled (with 3 children) through many cities on this trip and this was the best apartment we found. We are recommending this place to all our friends and can't wait to go back. Thanks Winston.
