Family Reunions are perfect for the Truman Kellog House (1838) in pre-revolutionary war village of Harwinton with ability to sleep up to 18. Within 5 minutes are tennis courts, 18 hole golf course (Fairview Farms) fishing, hiking in Roraback Wildlife preserve. The house is 20 minutes from Cross Country Skiing in White Memorial and 30 Minutes from downhill skiing- Ski Sundown, Mohawk Mountain. The 4 acre gardens with fountains and pond are beautiful. Area Description: Cross-country skiing and downhill skiing are nearby (out the door to 20 minutes away) Memorial Wildlife Conservation in Llitchfield, Skii Sundown and Mohawk Mt.ski area. . Several rivers and streams are also nearby: Naugatuck River, Farmington River, Housatonic River. Eleven square mile wildlife preserve - five minutes away with riding and hiking trails, and lake for canouing. Flyfishing lessons can be arranged. Tennis Courts five minute walk away. Pond on property with trout. The Fairview Golf Club is a public club with lovely clubhouse with good food and spectacular views. No need to play golf to eat ther. It is five minutes by car from the house. Major antique area in several surrounding towns and excellent places to eat especially The West Street Grill, one of Connecticuts best in Litchfield

2nd Floor has 2 kings, 2 doubles, & 2 twins; 3rd Floor has 1 double, 4 twins, & 1 hide-a-bed sofa. Piano; three fireplaces; large eat-in kitchen with two dishwashers; two VCRs; 4 acres with a garden and trout pond; 18 hole golf course and tennis courts nearby.
Family Reunions: This is a perfect place for several generations of family members. There are two large TV rooms, a dining room that can sit up to 18, with another 6 or 8 in the eat in Kitchen. The living room with a fireplace, has a piano; record player and CD player. The large eat in kitchen has two dishwasher. This is an elegant but cosy home with only a few short term rentals.
Weddings and large parties: While the house can sleep up to 18, the grounds can take hundreds although we limit the number to about 150 for the use of the grounds. A wedding is $6000. for 4 days. There are extra fees for use of the grounds for large events. Please call 917 403 0023 for more details.
