Our luxurious Bird of Paradise Kauai vacation rental home is on the sunny south east side of Kauai, Poipu, Hawaii. The colorful tropical flowers of the hillside and dozens of bird of paradise flowers greet you upon your arrival at this vacation rental home. Step inside the expansive living area connected to the lanai and you are surrounded by large picture windows framing swaying coconuts and green mountains, you'll know you are in a tropical paradise. The Bird of Paradise home is one of the largest four bedroom vacation home rentals in Beach Resort at Poipu Kai. With 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2600 sq ft home and 1500 sq ft of second floor lanai. The design of our home enables large family groups to stay together but at the same time maintain total privacy. The L shape of this vacation rental house maximizes the all around views for the bungalow suite and the main house. The largeopen living area (~1100 square feet) is on the second floor and is connected to the even larger lanai. You have your choice of eating inside or on the covered lanai to enjoy the views along with your meal. There is a gas grill on the lanai for quick lunches or dinners and the kitchen is very well equipped with table settings for up to 12 or more. The large master bedroom features a king size bed, liquid crystal TV, DVD player, two walk in closets, teak furniture and its own bathroom with dual sinks. The Bungalow Suite is detached from the main house on the lanai and has its own separate entrance and features a queen bed, its own bathroom, a kitchenette, and great views of the mountains and the coconut trees. All the bedrooms have their own cable TV, DVD players and large walk in closets.
A vacation in the relaxing atmosphere of this Bird of Paradise home will rejuvenate your body and soul. If you are an early riser you can watch the glorious sunrises out of the ocean from the lanai while sipping your Kauai coffee or walk to Shipwreck beach to watch the whales at sunrise (December through March) from the cliffs. During short walk in the other direction to Poipu beach from this home you can see big sea turtles in Turtle Cove, whales in winter, and monk seals loafing at Poipu beach almost year round. At night the bright Milky Way from the lanai is always a humbling and awesome sight.
