Its large private terrace faces the River Rhöne, across the river from the town of Tarascon in Provence. The handsome stone building was originally a rich merchant's mansion, named H?tel du Luxembourg. <br /> Recently renovated, the apartment has 5 m (16 ft) high ceilings and consists of three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen/dining room (renovated in January 2009), and a bathroom and separate toilet. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and one has two twin beds. There is also a fold-out couch/bed in the living room. <br /> Quiet and sunny, the apartment is within walking distance of all Beaucaire?s attractions, from the picturesque ruined castle to the lively canal promenade. Relax in one of the cafes in the old Square just around the corner and walk through narrow cobbled streets to a variety of shops, restaurants and open-air markets.
