For the cross-country skier, we are also located on a major trail of the nordic trail system and just a few minutes drive up the mountain from Lone Mountain Ranch. Our beautiful vacation home is nestled in the trees where the Middle Fork Creek of the Gallatin River runs at its edge and Lake Levinsky waits at the top of the road. And, three of Montana's blue ribbon trout rivers are nearby. All of our guests enjoy our home and Big Sky as much as we do.<br /> <br /> In terms of vacation home rentals, there is no other location in closer proximity to the Big Sky ski and summer resort base area. Yet, we are far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. <br /> <br /> The Yellowstone National Park boundary is just 18 miles down the road, which makes our upscale home an excellent base for day trips to the park through the western entrance at West Yellowstone.<br /> <br /> War Dance is ideal for one or two families (maximum of 10) or a group of no more than eight adults in three bedrooms (1K, 1Q, 2D 2T) and overflow sleeping on a queen size murphy (1Q) wall bed in the family room with 3-1/2 baths. If you have a larger group, we can coordinate lodging between our home and a neighboring home.
