McKenzie River Mountain Resort is a new property created from a retired Ranger Station located in the Western Cascades. The resort is beside the Blue River just before it merges with the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River was originally famous for its fishing, however its stunning beauty seems to be drawing just as much interest these days. Be sure to take a walk or bike on the nearby McKenzie River Trail (rated as America's #1 trail by bike Magazine in 2008) - you can get more info at www.mckenzierivertrail.com .
This listing is for our Mountain Cottage (also known as #3). It is a 3 bedroom home that features 3 bedrooms and one marvelously remodeled bathroom. Included is a full sized kitchen and a washer and dryer (which can be very handy for those who love to spend time in the outdoors).
Whether you are looking for a comfy place to unwind or home base for enjoying our vast outdoor wonderland, you'll find us to be a great choice.
Amenities include linens, dishes, cookware, washer/dryer, and flat screen TV with Cable. Other property features include access to our game room (with ping pong and other table games), wireless internet, access to the river (great fishing holes and swimming holes). About 300 yards away is a great riverside park with baseball, basketball, tennis and a riverside walking trail (complete with cool footbridge over river).

Stayed with my friends. Very comfortable and Clean. Lot's of room. The cabin was cheaper than us all getting our own hotel rooms. The owner was really nice.
