Watch for the sights of seals, porpoises, overspray nesting nearby on channel markers and listen to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing up against the rocks. Interested in witnessing the most gorgeous sunrises? Look no further for this is Maine at its finest! <br /> The house retains its history with all the beautiful antiques, photos and painting. Inside the fabulous kitchen you’ll find a functional antique parlor stove as well as all of the modern amenities. Sitting room, dining room, living room, bedroom and full bath are also found on the first floor. Upstairs you‘ll find a queen bedroom, bath and open studio space so bring your easels, canvases and paint brushes and get ready to be inspired. The whole house offers hardwood floors throughout as well as various memorizing paintings painted by a local Maine artist. <br /> You will feel right at home here and once you stay you’ll want to return for it will be hard to stay for just one week! In our opinion the entire summer would not be enough time to take in all of its natural beauty. There is so much to explore in a “fairy tale” style forest of 20 maliciously kept acres that surrounds the property- walk/hike miles in any direction. <br /> If you come by your own boat be prepare to take a lot of time to explore the many small surrounding islands.
