This spacious property offers privacy, relaxation, and it's located on a quiet street, about a mile and a half from the heart of Fort Myers Beach. The white, powdery sand and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico is only a half block away, accessed by a deeded-beach-access path just for this street.<br /> <br /> Fort Myers Beach offers many fun things to do for outdoorspeople or for those who just want a beautiful place to relax.<br /> <br /> Lover's Key State Park is a short trolley ride down the beach where you'll find hiking trails, kayak and canoe rentals, Lover's Key Beach, as well as boat rentals and biking trails. We provide two beach bikes, but if you need more, Fort Myers Beach also offers bike rentals, motorcycle rentals, and scooter rentals. <br /> <br /> There are lots of restaurants from coffee shops with Internet access to fine dining. The best pizza on the beach, in my opinion, can be found a Junkanoo on the Beach, a funky and friendly restaurant, seven blocks from the duplex, and located right on the beach. You can enjoy your meal out on the deck while watching our beautiful Southwest Florida sunsets. Also at that location is Anthony's, a white-tablecloth restaurant. <br /> <br /> You can enjoy pier fishing from Shell Mound House, two blocks over from the duplex, where you may also see dolphins swimming in the back bay or maybe even a manatee or two. <br /> <br /> You'll relax walking along the surf on the beach, where in the quiet of the morning hours, there's nothing but the surf and your thoughts. And of course, lots of seashells. In the evenings, the sunsets are absolutely spectacular!
