We rent six lovely apartments in our Family Palazzo (18th Century) in the Medieval center of Pietrasanta (Lucca, Tuscany).Palazzo Ferretti is a vacation rental for international artists and foreign tourists. Pietrasanta is famous for its marble studios, art galleries, foundries and artisan laboratories.
Our apartments are very close to the Dome square (100 meters), railway station (8 minutes on walk), bus station (10 minutes on walk), cycle path (2 minutes by bike), internet shop.
Wifi Internet is available at free of charge (in every apartment).
You can pay by credit card or by wire transfer. Ask for our newsletter about Art, Marble and Tourism in Tuscany.

Area Description: Pietrasanta is the ideal location in Tuscany, for day trips to Pisa (30 km, 20 minutes by train), Florence (90 km, 90 minutes by train), Lucca (40 km, one hour by bus), 5 Terre (50 km, one hour by train), Carrara (20 km, 30 minutes by train), Camaiore (15 km, 30 minutes by bus), Viareggio (20 km, 12 minutes by train).
Pietrasanta has a lot of historical monuments, such as "Rocca di Sala" (XIV century), San Martino's Cathedral (XIV), Sant'Agostino's church (XIV century), Tower of the Hours (XVI), Rocchetta Arrighina (XIV century), Fonte del Marzocco (XVI century), Column of Liberty (XVI century) and the monument to Leopoldo II (XIX century), as well as many modern art works, thanks to a long list of international artists that live or work there, such as Yan Kasuda, Fernando Botero, Michel Folon, Adam, Bloc, Cascella, Igor Mitoraj, G. Cancellation Policy
Usually, my cancellation policy is based on a gentleman agreement with my guests:
- you pay a 50% deposit when you book it, and the remaining part two months before your arrival ;
- if you cancel one month prior to your arrival date, you do not loose your money as you will be 100% refund at no fees (by credit card or wire transfer);
- if you cancel after that date, you do not loose your money as it will be considered as a deposit for the next bookings (in 2011, 2012 and after);

I remind you that Pietrasanta has been the marble capital since the times of Michelangelo, and today it has a lot of art galleries, marble studios and bronze foundries, as well as Italian fashion shops and commercial life. In the house where Michelangelo spent some months of his life in 1518, waiting for the marble blocks for the façade of the San Lorenzo Church in Florence, tourists can drink an espresso coffee, in front of the "Piazza" (Cathedral square). Many restaurants of the Tuscan coastal (Versilia) have moved to Pietrasanta in the last 10 years, as the town is one of the top tourist sites in Tuscany.
