Relaxing Views, Nestled in Secluded Valley Near Tangelwood"ValleyView" a charming New England Cape, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, wall-to-wall carpeted (there is an adjoining apartment which is rented seperately). Centrally located in the Berkshires; 5 minutes from Lee, 15 minutes from Lenox, Tangelwood, or Stockbridge and 20 minutes from Great Barrington or Jacob's Pillow. Three miles from the Lee exit of the Mass Pike ( exit 2). Far enough from the turnpike not to hear the highway noise and distant enough from the local town to still be able to view the unspoiled night sky above.
Reputed to have one of nicest views of Tyringham Valley. Tryingham Valley is a 3-mile valley oriented East-West, therefore, receiving early morning sunrises, late afternoon long shadows, beautiful sunsets and a glow that local poetry has described. With a mountain forest immediately in back and a field on the side, one views woods, pastured cows and horses and a country estate in the far distance. Nearby are untrafficed country lanes for walking; for hiking there's the Appalachian Trail or the "Cobble" mountain, which offersa panoramic view of the surrounding valley; and for swimming nearby are several clean mountain lakes.
The air-conditioned living room/dining room gets plenty of light and has a view of the valley and surrounding hills. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned; the 12ft by 15ft has a queen size bed, and the 10ft by 10ft has a full size bed.
Washer/dryer are located conveniently in the kitchen. Also available are an outdoor charcoal grill, beach chairs and a screend gazebo tent with two wooden gliders and a hammock. There is off street parking, satellite TV, Internet access, and local phone service are all included as well as all the other utilities.
This is a latchkey property. All you have to do is bring your own clothes and toiletries. Everything else is supplied - from microwave to wine bottle corkscrew. It's all there for you to feel comfortable and relaxed surrounded by birdsong, cottage gardens, calming natural beauty and refreshing Berkshire mountain air!
We ask that you and your guests do not smoke in the house or on the property. No pets allowed

Area Description: The combination of staying at the ValleyView surrounded by birdsong and perennial flower gardens all designed to attract Hummingbirds with this stunning view of Tyringham Valley. Then within a short drive there is the Tangelwood the Summer home of the Boston Symphony, the Berkshire Theater Festival, Jacob's Pillow Dance Company, the Norman Rockwell Art Museum, and the Hancock Shaker Village, and the lovely picturesque New England Villages of Lee, Lenox and Stockbridge. Or you may decide to dine a the many fine pubs and restaurantes in the area.
Nothing is like the Berkshires in the Spring, Summer or Fall.
