Hiking, fishing, hunting and just relaxing are just some of the activities found here. We are right across the road from a fantastic hiking trail called Rim Rock. Rock formations abound in the forest and Pounds Hollow Lake has a wonderful swimming beach in a forest lake setting. We are a short distance away from Garden of the Gods, Cave-in Rock State Park, Ohio River, Illinois Iron Furnace, the rivertowns of Elizabethtown, Rosiclare and Cave in Rock. Kentucky Amish Country is just a ride across the Ohio River on one of the few free ferry rides left in the country. The Shawnee River River Taxi will take you on wonderful, scenic rides up and down the Ohio River. If you like nature and the outdoors this is the place to come.
