Beautiful Old Community House, with parts from 1840, completely restored, remodeled and updated by keeping its originality.Beautiful water view from all parts of the house, with 160 feet of ocean front, harbor sailing, dock and float.Deep water mooring.
2 large apartments in the Main House can be either rented separately or together as a whole, each has its separate entrance, kitchen, backdoor to the lawn and garden area. The house has a total of 7 bedrooms and the max capacity is 14 people.
The adjacent Barn, [as in the typical Maine Barn House configuration -Tall House, Middle House, Barn] 2 stories high, has 2 large studios each aprox 400 sq feet, with separate entrances. The top floor Studio has a balcony overlooking the harbor, both studios have an incredible view.
The most beautiful thing about the house is the special location with western exposure,where the sun will set and shimmer on the large harbor waters. The light and the colors are spectacular.
The interior is beautifully kept, with white plaster walls, oak and pine floors, all original, nice area rugs, antiques, Maine style decorations, original wavy glass windows.
The kitchens are new, gourmet cooking, formal dining ware,breakfast areas w panoramic windows,W/D, internet, cable TV, telephone. The baths are all new or antique/new cobination.
The architectural stairs are maple and the ceilings are originally decorated at the turn of the 19th century.
Ideal location for a quiet, private,romantic, rejuvinating stay..

The rates are for 14 people or entire property rented.
One can rent a smaller living area and pay lower rates per person,accordingly.
A 2 person occupancy varies between $600-1200/wk
Any additional guest other than the checked guests are 175$/wk and will be accepted only if announced.
No surprise visitors allowed, for security and privacy reasons.
Max house occupancy and quiet hours reinforced.
Only 1 car per living area can park on the premises. Young children please ask. Special needs, handicapped or extremely obese not suitable.No pets.
No rentals to minors alone, at least one person over 25 must be present at all times
- Rates are based on an occupancy of: 14
- Minimum stay: 5 nights
- Cleaning fee: $20
- Other fees: optional dock, mooring, kayak, bicycles, any extra guests
- Lodging Tax: 9%
Cancellation Policy
Once the sec deposit is received, it will be reimbursed at the end of the stay, upon determination that no other fees apply and that everything is in full order. Cleaning,extra cleaning, if necessary, can be deducted from the deposit. Long dist ph calls not included in the rate.
Cancellations accepted more than 65 days in advance, in writing. 100$ cancellation fee per living area will apply.
If less than 65 days, the deposit will be kept but it can be returned if the property is rented out for same period.
All full amount payments of rates, taxes are due 30 days prior to arrival . If cancelled under the 30 days, that amount will not be reimbursed unless the property is further rented out for same period.
