The Island House on Camano is a one-of-a-kind 3,000 sf owner builder Timberframe home on 3 1/2 lush private acres of pristine NW Forest and a 20 acre wildlife pond. When The Island House is not being used as a vacation rental, it is being used by owner Noah and Martha and their 7 grown children as a place to gather.
The Island House is designed to be a destination. You can drive up to the Island House, which is conveniently located on the North end of Camano Island, and never leave. It is a beautiful self- contained experience that lends itself to a variety of experiences or use it as a comfortable and beautiful way station for exploring the island and the area.

Set in a wildlife sanctuary on the north end of Camano Island, WA, The Island House offers a luxuriously private gathering place for friends and family, retreat groups, workshops, and more.
Constructed in 2005 entirely from trees on the property, this 3,000 sq. ft. owner designed/built home is a work of art! Custom built cabinetry, hardwood floors, 24' beamed ceiling, stained glass, and a hand-carved railing are some of the visual treats awaiting your stay.
At the Island House, you will experience the comfort of home while being surrounded by the splendor of the outdoors. The three bedrooms and a Master Suite easily sleep eight while comfortable couches can add up to 6 additional guests. A large kitchen and spacious living area provide the perfect gathering space upstairs. Downstairs includes a smaller kitchen and entertainment room, ideal for putting your feet up to watch a movie or finding a quiet place to read. For outside gatherings, benches made from trees on the property surround a fire pit next to the pond.
While staying at the Island House, you may choose a quiet experience such as watching for indigenous birds and wildlife around the pond, or engage in more active pursuits such as kayaking, fishing or swimming at the many nearby beaches, hike in the national parks or attend local events and festivals.
