Beautifully restored, with 6 bedrooms each with private bathroom, AC, and satellite TV, this ex-presbytery from the 11th century is located on 7 private acres of olive groves and fruit trees in the ruins of the church of Sant'Andrea, 7 minutes outside of the ancient hill-top city of Cortona. The roof-top terrace of the guest house is above the heated swimming-pool and overlooks the Valdichiana. Furnished graciously with antiques and antique reproductions, oriental carpets and original oi paintings, Sant'Andrea makes a beautiful location for large family gatherings, groups of friends, weddings, and small business groups. With 4 antiques fireplaces, an antique wood burning oven and ancient stone sink, the home is rich in history as well as functionality. Convenient to trains, highways, shopping and fine dining we are near the border of Tuscany and Umbria and a 10 minute drive to Lake Trasimeno, 1 hour to Florence and 2 hours to Rome. Private cooks, maid service, wine country tours and more are available.

My husband and I, along with two other couples stayed for one week at this fantastic Villa. We enjoyed the private quarters and beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed easy access to both Florence and Rome as well as Siena. We also enjoyed the local hospitality and plan to return this year. Best time of our lives. We highly recommend this Villa.
