This privately owned and operated Big Bear vacation cabin cottage has all knotty pine interior walls for a warm and cozy feeling. You can curl up in front of the fireplace in a hand crocheted afghan or antique quilt for a romantic getaway. The whole family will enjoy the flat screen cable TV and DVD/VCR player in the livingroom. Another cable TV is located in the master bedroom.

Bring your computer to use the wireless high speed internet access.

The owner has decorated this charming Big Bear cottage with a few of her antiques and quilts. This cottage is even decorated for Christmas!

In the master bedroom, there is a down comforter that will keep you toasty warm on those chilly winter nights. There is a TV for those who like relaxing in the queen bed. The view from the window is of the front landscaped yard, with cypress trees, a crabapple tree, cedar tree and many local wildflowers.

The second bedroom has two twin beds and a set of bunk beds with twin mattresses.

The dining room has a cozy breakfast nook table and benches, which repeats the mountain cabin decor.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, including a few spices. In case you decide not to cook, there are restaurant menus of the local places to eat.

Pillows and blankets are provided. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillowcases and towels. Linens available for an extra charge.

Private rear yard, surrounded by a six foot redwood fence for those private BBQs. Backyard table and benches for those outdoor BBQ meals. Covered front porch with comfy chairs for your relaxation while watching the birds in the birdbath. Boat parking in long driveway.

Activities and Attractions Nearby:
The ski slopes are a short drive away, as is the lake. There are many hiking trails and mountain biking trails in Big Bear. Bicycle rentals are available in Big Bear Lake village. There are boat rentals at the lake. The museum is full of local historical items and the local zoo is great for the kids. All of the animals have been rescued. It is one of only a handfull of Alpine zoos. For those of you who like antiques ( like me), there are many local antique shops.
