TRAPPER is more rustic than SAM.
Our cabin is secluded, but not isolated & easy access, on secondary road, with wooded area on 3 sides. 13 acres to roam around.
The cabin can be rented by the Day (min. 3 days), week or month. It can also be leased for the season or short terms rentals-3 or 6 months.security deposit for pets

TRAPPER is more rustic than SAM.
For those who want to " rough it" we call it "KABIN KAMPING", it has almost all the comfort of home : Kitchen/dining room- gas range, fridge,microwave etc.., living room: settee, easy chairs, Franklin Stove/ electric fireplace insert ( No smoke, no ashes, no wood to carry), one bedroom/ fouton & twin bed. Linen furnished.

We ask our guests to give us an estimated time of arrival, then when they get to Saranac Lake to give us a call. We will meet them at the " 4 Corners" in Bloomingdale to take them to the cabin. we will send maps upon receipt of payment.

Lake Placid of Olympic Fame, Whiteface Mountain/ you can drive to the top & hike or take the elevator to the summit. Lakes & streams to fish(trophy trout) or enjoy a boat or a canoe ride. VIC- Visitor Interpretive Center/ Hiking. Indian Museum, in Onchiota. Blue Mountain Lake ( Plan on spending the day)
