Golf

Casa de Campo's Pete Dye designed golf courses are among the best in the world. The famous "Teeth of the Dog" has seven holes skirting the ocean and consistently ranks as the #1 course in the Caribbean on Golf Magazines "Top Ten Courses of the World". The "Links" is a challenging inland course, with hilly terrain and rolling vistas reminiscent of Scotland. A third Pete Dye masterpiece is currently under development near Altos de Chavon and will be available to guests in 2001.

Built high above the Chavon River is Altos de Chavon, a 16th century Mediterranean village replica, created by hand of sand, iron and wood. This amazing sight, offering breathtaking views, is a cultural mecca for the arts and is highlighted by a spectacular 5,000-seat Grecian style amphitheater. Stroll along cobblestone streets to quaint shops, exclusive boutiques, art galleries, an archeological museum and four restaurants.
