If you are looking for a peaceful, romantic log cabin experience that is close to lots of activities then you will love the cabin at Catoosa Retreat. Catoosa Retreat is adjacent to the 82,000 acre Catoosa Wildlife Management Area, yet is located only five minutes from all the amenities at Fairfield Glade Resort and 10 miles from Crossville,TN. Play golf at one of the 11 area championship golf courses, shop at 20+ local antique stores, birdwatch, hike, ride horses, relax with a massage, or enjoy a show at the Cumberland County Playhouse, and then return to the log cabin's front porch rocking chairs or porch swing to enjoy the nightly frog serenade, or relax by the fireplace depending on the season. Located on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, we are approximately 2 hours from the Great Smoky Mountains, but without the crowds. The three-bedroom, two-bath cabin will accommodate up to 6 people. The Master Bedroom located on the main level, has a queen-sized brass bed. There is a king-sized bed and a trundle bed in the second bedroom located in a loft on the second level. This bedroom has a private balcony deck. The third bedroom is accessed via the spiral staircase and has an antique full-sized iron bed. |

We have more than 25 local antique shops, birdwatching, nature photography, live performances at the Cumberland County Playhouse, and miles of hiking trails (Cumberland Trails, State and National Parks & Recreation areas). There are numerous restaurants within a 10 minute drive of the Cabin. The hardwood forests here on the Cumberland Plateau and it's escarpments offer beautiful dogwood and redbud blooms in the Spring and dramatic Fall color . The Smoky Mountain National Park is a two-hour drive from Crossville. The outlet stores at Pigeon Forge are approximately 90 minutes away.
