Come up the mountain to enjoy the Mogollon Rim at this beautiful,secluded, romantic, Forest Lakes year-round large log cabin (house--1400 sq.ft.!)--7500 ft. elev--the perfect retreat from stress! Only 130 miles NE of Phoenix--closer than Flagstaff and higher in elevation!-- only 40 miles east of Payson--1 mile south of Hwy 260 on cul-de-sac Ponderosa pine forested acre lot. Beautiful wood paneled high ceiling in Great Room with full kitchen, dining room and new couch and loveseat in front of the pellet stove. There is a full bathroom, 2 large downstairs bedrooms--each with KING bed, spacious loft with 2 twin beds, 1 double bed and twin rollaway. We just added a Port-a-Crib and bedding for small infants. The covered porch has a picnic table, outdoor charcoal BBQ and porch swing--perfect for watching the wildlife. The large, full,kitchen has all cookware, utensils, condiments, staples, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Linens are provided--Pets (dogs & cats) are permitted, but NO SMOKING is allowed inside. Near 2 lakes with boating and fishing--we supply a 4 person rowboat with oars, seats and lifejackets; horseback riding in summer, cross country skiing in winter, and hiking trails. This is the only large single rental cabin on the south side of Forest Lakes. We provide something the other places don't--PRIVACY and SECLUSION and we are far enough from the highway so you don't hear any traffic.

We just added a Port-a-Crib and bedding for small infants. Linens include flannel sheet sets for all the beds in the winter and down comforters for the King size beds.Large breakfast bar in kitchen, outdoor fire pit, porch swing and picnic table, safe pellet stove in great room. We provide coffee, hot chocolate, condiments, and staples for cooking. This is the only place where two king size beds are offered. There is a 4 person rowboat available free to renters to use at the nearby lakes.

Also, you may wish to visit the Tonto Natural Bridge nearby.
