Welcome to our relaxing lakeside home nestled on the golf course. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, detached, single-level home. Our home is located inside the gated community of Palmilla Lakes Golf Course, which is only 20 miles (25 minutes) west of the Phoenix International airport, near the area known as Litchfield Park. Our home is new and has been in occupancy since early 2005.

Your stay begins with an entry to the beautiful cobblestone paved driveway, which is on a shared central courtyard that is landscaped with lush greens. As you step into the doorway, you immediately get a sense of calm as you gaze at the serene lake and the putting greens fading to the horizon in the distant. The view is spectacular! Your first reaction will be to open the sliding glass patio door and step into the backyard to feel the peace and calmness while scanning the lake. There are small figurines of people walking in the distant golf course. You spot the patio dining table/chairs and the gas barbeque and can imagine yourself sitting outside eating a relaxing meal while enjoying the view.

As you walk back inside the house, your eyes gravitate to the luxury appointed kitchen with warm maple cabinets and a cozy breakfast bar.
As you run your fingers along the smooth granite slab countertops and examine the stainless steel Kitchen-Aid series appliances, including the massive built-in refrigerator and the deluxe gas
stove, the secret chef inside of you yearns to cook something delicious. The kitchen also includes a reverse osmosis faucet near the sink for some refreshing cool water. We fully equip the kitchen with all necessary items to cook your favorite dish so that you can enjoy your home cooked meal in the dining nook that also has a spectacular view of the lake.

The living room features a contemporary styled sofa with a chaise where you can snuggle around the gas fireplace, or relax back on the chaise and watch some TV. We provide basic cable TV or you can also drive to the nearby Blockbuster to rent the latest movie and watch using the provided DVD player.

If you need to check your stock quotes, use the provided Windows desktop computer with high-speed broadband internet or use your laptop and connect to the internet using the cables provided. If your laptop has wireless capabilities, you can even connect wirelessly from the patio and surf the internet while gazing at the lake. We have all the equipment you need to do business including a printer, fax, scanner, and copier. We provide local phone service.

After a full day of sightseeing, you’ll want to clean up in the nicely appointed master bath featuring dual sinks with separate soaking tub and shower. Soak away the day’s tension with a warm bath. We finish off your resort-like experience with luxurious bathrobes for him and her.

When the day comes to a close, rest your tired muscles and aching back on our posturepedic plush pillowtop mattress so you wake up
refreshed. Snuggle into soft down-filled pillows and keep warm at night with the luxurious down comforters. The master bedroom has a king size mattress while other rooms have a queen and full size bed.

When the sun rises, wake up each day to a fresh cup of coffee. We provide complimentary Philips Senseo style coffee that provides a single cup of hot coffee in about two minutes using an espresso like high-pressured brewing technique to give each cup a frothy foam layer. Mmmmm delicious.

After a whole week of travel, wash your clothes in the provided washer and dryer. Detergents are provided. Iron and ironing board provided.

If looking at the lake makes you want to jump in, then walk over and take a dip in the community heated pool which is located adjacent to the home. Or if looking at the golf course in the backyard makes you itch to hit a golf ball 300 yards, then play a round of golf at the
Palmilla Lakes golf course for $29 Monday through Thursday and $39 Friday through Sunday which includes cart and green fees for 18 holes (par 62).

For more challenging golf, try the sister course, the Palm golf course with 18 holes (par 72). Or travel two miles north and try the
Four Star Wigwam Resort and Golf Club which boasts three championship golf courses, two of which were designed by Robert Trent Jones.

There are many restaurants located within a half mile including Starbucks, Chili’s, Denny’s, Cracker Barrel, TGI Friday’s, Applebee’s, Black Angus Steakhouse, El Paso Barbeque, On the Border Mexican Grill, Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, McDonald, Wendy’s, Subway, Blimpie’s, Carl’s Jr.

Max, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble. Costco is 4 miles away. Within 2 miles there is a Walgreens, CVS, and Osco/Savon drugstore. Within 2 miles there is a Bank One, Bank America, Wells Fargo, and Washington Mutual. There are large grocery supermarkets nearby including Fry's
Food, Albertson's, Safeway, and Walmart Supercenter.
