Our cabins are secluded, but not isolated and easy access, on secondary roads, with wooded area on 3 sides.Both cabins can be rented by the day ( min. 3 days) week or month. They can also be leased for the season or short term rentals 3 or 6 months

SAM: full Kitchen incl. electric range, microwave etc..., Dining room, Living room/ reed furniture, electric stove fireplace( the pleasure of the dancing flames but NO smoke, ashes& no wood to lug around) , full bath/ tub-shower, Master bedroom/ King size bed or Twins ( your choice), 2d bedroom/ twin + cot. Linen furnished.
2 open decks & one gas BBQ.
SAM also has a phone in the kitchen, free local calls, all other with YOUR Phone card

At both cabins you might get a visit from our 4 legged friends: deer, racoon,fox etc..also many birds: Robin, Blue Jay & Gray Jay, Owl, Sparrows, Chicadee, Nuthatch, etc... SAM is 5 min. from lovely Moose pond, you can take the foot path around or canoe accross...no houses on the shores. TRAPPER is bordered in part by a small trout stream. There are numerous lakes, pond & streams near by.

Directions:
We ask our guests to give us an estimated time of arrival, then when they get to Saranac Lake, to give us a call. We will meet them at the "4 Corners" in Bloomingdale to take them to the cabin. We will send our guests a map upon receipt of payment

Lake Placid, of Olympic fame, Whiteface Mountain/ you can drive to the top & hike or take the elevator to the summit.Lakes & Streams to fish( trophy trout) or enjoy a boat or canoe ride. VIC/visitor Interpretive Center has many trails for: winter/Snowshoe & XC Skiing, Summer/Hiking. Indian Museum, in Onchiota . Blue Mountain Museum
