Gorgeous oceanfront home located in the Cape Neddick neighborhood of York, Maine. The home is minutes from the quaint villages of York and Ogunquit, and the historic villages of Kennebunkport and Portsmouth, NH are in close proximity. This home is located at the end of a gravel road, directly atop the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, and steps from a private rocky beach. The kitchen and dining rooms overlook a peaceful pond with resident beavers and cranes. Every convenience is provided whether you want to create a gourmet meal, or just boil a lobster. Fabulous views of the ocean can be had from oversized picture windows. Guests are able to watch the lobstermen pull their traps, watch the yachts go by, and relax while watching the crashing surf on the rocks below. The sunsets and sunrises over both Nubble and Boon Island lights are spectacular. Ocean breezes freshen and cool, and sleeping is especially wonderful as the nights are typically cool and the days warm yet cooler than nearby inland areas. Taking that evening walk or early morning run is both safe and beautiful. Private, yet close to the myriad of activities available in the area, this is as close to paradise as it gets. |
