The Bed and Breakfast retreat is situated alongside our home in a detached, second story, non-smoking apartment, with private entry, and has off street parking. Concierge and baby sitteing services available. Sumptuious continental breakfast of your choice provided.

We had the pleasure of staying in this fine lodging in October to celebrate a birthday, and our stay exceeded all expectations! We spent Thanksgiving week here and it was a 'home away from home'. Bill and Pam were great hosts. They brought us breakfast every morning, gave us tour advice, and made us feel comfortable. I compared the cost of hotels in the Monterey Peninsula area and this cute little cottage in the picturesque Pebble Beach was the best deal I found. This is the cutest little studio rental. Its walking distance from the beach. The breakfast was superb. You can eat it when ever you like. Unlike most places with a two hour window. Its very private. The use of their bikes was a big pro too. A comfy, relaxing and cosy studio flat and very private. Bill and Pam were the perfect hosts. We stayed for a weekend last year with our then 18 month old son, whilst my wife was pregnant with our second.An excellent breakfast to start the day - more than we could eat and our son loved it also! Bill and Pam were very accommodating and were very generous in providing bikes to get to the gorgeous beaches. I loved being able to jog early in the mornings along 17 mile drive when there were no other tourists around - perfect! A fab location and a great price. We think that Bill and Pam may have ordered the rain to stop just for our visit! Accomodations in the cozy loft-type bungalow were quite appealing as well as relaxing. The ample breakfast arrived in a country basket....chiiled cups for milk or juice....warm pastry...cooked cereal (just the way we like it)...fresh fruit....and, a pot of coffee YUM! We loved the easy access to the beach. Everywhere you look is a picture opportunity! We appreciated our hosts input on where to dine as well. We are located between SF and Napa Valley to the north and Big Sur, Pismo, Cambria,and the Hearst Castle to the south.

Directions:
Driving South from San Francisco or San Jose, come down Highway 101 to 1 at Prunedale (Look sharply for the Monterey Peninsula exit) Enter Pebble Beach (between Monterey and Carmel) at the top of the hill from Highway1. Stay in the far left side of the exit road, then jog around to the Security Gate. Tell them you are guests of the Zierings/Martins. Then head DOWNHILL along 17 Mile Drive all the way to Cormorant Rd (6 miles)DON'T TURN.Half way along, 17 Mile Dr turns into Stevenson Drive. You will pass Spyglass Golf Course, then Birdrock, Ocean, and Customs Finally 2963 Cormorant, We are the second house on the left; the one with the red bridge Fees at the gate are waived for our guests (I'll have announced you ahead) We live in the house immediately behind your unit, and are the welcome committee
