Please note that our check in time is anytime after 2pm and check out is noon (unless other arrangements are made.)
Coming from Hiway 80 take the Old Bisbee exit which loops around to your right and goes under the bridge. At the stop sign take a left. (If you are coming from the south go to the next step.) Take your second right which is Brewery Avenue. Take your first left, Howell, which goes in front of the Copper Queen Hotel. Stay to your right when you come to the parking lot. Ahead of you is Opera Drive. Stay on Opera until you come to a “Y”in the road at a grey stuccoed building. Go to the left at the “Y” and continue up Opera until you come to a dead end sign. (Partially hidden by recent construction fencing.) You can see the house at this point, it’s up on the hill in front of you—it’s turquoise and the third house down from the water tank. At this dead end go left and stay on the road as it gets narrower, steeper and bumpier. When you come to a brown and white jeep on your right you have arrived at the lower parking area. Please note that parking is a real premium here in Bisbee. The guest house has 2 parking places across the road from the jeep, please park in only one of them. It looks tight but two cars will fit. You can access the 48 stairs to the house behind the jeep. If you are arriving after dark follow the rope lites up to the first house.
Please note that if no one is around when you arrive (I live in the white house above the Sleepy Dog ) the key is in the door so go ahead on into the house and make yourselves at home. Once you are comfortably checked in I will stop in for a chat and have you settle up your bill.
Help yourselves to whatever is in the refrigerator as it is all there for you. Let me know if there is anything that I can help you with. My cell phone is 520.234.8166
.
One more note—this is a non-smoking house. And for the comfort of future guests we’d really appreciate it if you would keep cologne/perfume use to a minimum if at all. Thanks for choosing the Sleepy Dog! Cheers, Tad Miller
