This is my second home so you will find it is kept in impeccable condition. The master bedroom suite upstairs has a comfortable king bed with a double sink bath. The guest bedroom/reading room downstairs with a full bath, has two very nice twin beds. My place is fully equipped whether it's the kitchen with its granite counters or the living areas with cable, VCR, CD player etc. My home is painted in Bermuda colors (butter yellow, coral, turquoise) and on the walls are paintings from my trips to Cuba. You will enjoy the big back deck as well as the fact that you are a short walk from the beach, the pool and the famed Duval Street with its unique shops, restaurants, clubs, art galleries and bars. Key West is not called Paradise for nothing.

My cottage is located in the Truman Annex with wonderful tropical foliage. Key West as you probably know is noted for its funky, laid back living so you can alternate from catching up on your reading to dancing the night away. It's your choice. I welcome questions so shoot them to me.

Located:
The Truman Annex was a former Naval base that has been converted to one of the finest communities located anywhere in Florida. Besides being a residential community in the heart of old town, it is the location of Harry Truman's summer White House which is very worth visiting. We are about two miles from the Key West airport but once you are ensconced in my place, you can walk to everything and anything you'd want to do from Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach (I have a beach pass for you) to Duval Street to Mallory Square.

Directions:
I recommend that people fly all the way to Key West since you do not have to go to the expense of a rental car. If you are driving in from say the Miami area, you just follow Rt. 1 all the way to Key West and from there it is easy to find the Truman Annex in Old Town.

Activities and Attractions on Property:
I mentioned Harry Truman's Summer White House (he vacationed down here regularly and carried on government business on his veranda). Just on the edge of the Truman Annex property is the entrance to Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park. Besides the best beach in Key West, it also has a Civil War fort worth exploring (Key West was the southernmost base of the Union Army).

Activities and Attractions Nearby:
Two blocks away is Hemingway House; the Lighthouse; Mallory Square; the country's first outdoor Aquarium. Duval Street is also two blocks away and whether it's unusual stores like Fast Buck Freddies or the female impersonator club La Te Da or bars like Sloppy Joe's or Jimmy Buffet's Margueritaville, you have it all.

Restaurant Facilities:
Dining is a very personal thing but my favorite is Blue Heaven. It's Key West funky and the food whether breakfast, lunch or dinner is great. For Italian, there's Antonio's; for romance Louie's Backyard. For seafood, it ranges from Seven Fish to the Conch Republic. There are tremendous restraurants and I'll describe more should we chat
