The guesthouse is located in the mountains of WNC approximately 11 miles from Future I 26 North from Asheville at Ext # 9.
The house was built in 1996 and has a beautiful mountain and meadow view, by walking to the top of the meadow one can see the parkway and the Low Gap Mountain Range.
The house is made up of two condo's within the same building a large porch greets you and inside you will find a complete home for your visit. Satelite tv, vcr, video's, games and books and magazines are there for your enjoyment. We have a nice walking trail which covers the outline of a 14 acre former mountain farm.

Dishes, linens and a laundry are is provided. The full kitchen includes microwave and dishwasher and a nice dining area. Each unit has an additional futon in th eliving room which can sleep two. Cleaning supplies provided we do not require you to clean the house but ask that you leave it as neat as possible.

Located:
6 1/2 miles West of Burnsville off the Asheville Highway,take Hwy 19 W North and follow signs; 11 miles from Future I-26 at Mars Hill off Hwy 19W North. the guesthouse is just beyond the main(owners)house separated by a patch of woods.

Directions:
From I 26 at Mars Hill Take Ext # 9 onto Hwy 19 E. follow toward Burnsville, after crossing the Madison Mtn, you will come to a old rock school on the left. Continue about 1/2 mile to Hardscrabble Rd. on the left. Turn onto Hardscrabble Rd. continue 2 1/2 miles to the end. Take a left at stop sign, go to next road on left Proffitt Branch Rd. turn left, then left at first house onto Trillium Place go to first house at top of hill to check in.

Biltmore House in Asheville Antiques, Civil War Museum, Parkway Playhouse, Quilt shops,Genealogy Library, Aphalachian Trail and shopping all in the immediate area of Burnsville. Snow sking at Wolf Laurel, white water rafting and hot springs baths at Hot Springs.Blue Ridge Parkway takes you to Mt. Mitchell and Grandfather Mtn all in a days trip. Oh yes and shopping downtown Burnsville.

Restaurant Facilities:
Fast food, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, pizza and old fashion country meals are a speciality at the Nu-Wray Inn located in Burnsville a 10 minute drive away.
