You will love our unique woodland cabin located on a secluded pond. The cabin is perched up a hillside overlooking the water. The Olympic Mountains can be viewed from the large bedroom loft. With tongue-and-groove natural wood walls and ceilings, the cabin has a pleasant and warm ambience. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic, private getaway. Enjoy a sparkling fire in the wood-burning stove while you watch and hear the pond come alive with birds at dusk. Take a walk down to the water's edge or retire on the spacious deck and see the stars come out.

This cabin is also a wonderful retreat for artistic or contemplative endeavors. A basket filled with artist supplies (including pastels, watercolor paints, a sumi-e kit, and paper), is provided for your use. The bedroom contains a bookcase filled with novels and a comfortable chair overlooking the pond for your enjoyment.

No need to pack much, all you need to bring is food. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils), microwave, range/oven, and refrigerator. All bedding and towels are provided.

Come and enjoy the solitude in this tranquil, picturesque setting!

The cabin is 15 minutes from Belfair and only 90 minutes from SeaTac Airport in a private lake community. A community beach is present on Maggie Lake just one minute from the cabin. Maggie Lake is a quiet, non-motorized boat lake. The community beach offers swimming docks, picnic tables, a picnic gazebo, badminton net, and horseshoe pits. A boat launch and public fishing area also are present at the lake. Belfair State Park, located at the headwaters of beautiful Hood Canal, is only 10 minutes from the cabin. At this park, you can explore the tidelands, go for walks along the beach, or take a saltwater swim. The Tahuya State Forest is present within 10 minutes of the cabin. This large state forest is filled with mountain biking, hiking, and dirt biking trails and is a popular destination with local residents for those activities. The Thayer Wetland Nature Center is located 15 minutes from the cabin. The Thayer Wetlands contain 2+ miles of accessible trails, boardwalks, and dike roads through the wetland. This is a wonderful place for birdwatching. Expect to see warblers and other summer passerines as well as raptors. The Town of Belfair contains a variety of grocery stores for stocking up on your cabin supplies. The nearest grocery store is just 10 minutes away, across from Belfair State Park. Belfair also has a variety of restaurants for those nights when you’d rather eat out.
